Automating device groups

Has anyone automated creation/maintenance of device groups? Specifically automating add/remove of static members or adding/removing dynamic rules.

We setup attributes loaded from our CMDB to identify production, stagging and development devices and then setup dynamic device groups to capture each type.&nbsp; We formalized our maintenance windows around specific days of a month.&nbsp;
